Gabbeh are rugs hand-woven by the Qashqai nomads of Iran, using hand-spun, vegetable-dyed wool. They are thickly woven with thick wool, giving them a rustic feel, and are characterized by simple, charming patterns and color schemes.

This is a high-grade Gabbeh called "Kashkuli," which has a finer weave. It uses wool yarn spun even finer than the wool typically used for Gabbeh, resulting in a high weaving density and clear, detailed designs.



Each Gabbeh has a pattern with a unique meaning, making them popular gifts.

Because they are plush, they are recommended for use as cushions, chair mats, or as decorative items for car seats.
