This is a handwoven rug made from a combination of wool and silk, woven in Tabriz, a renowned center for Persian rugs in northwestern Iran.

Tabriz has long been known for producing precise and highly artistic rugs, and is a historic city where workshops for royalty and nobility once existed. This rug is woven with a fineness called "50RAJ," which signifies a high-density class capable of beautifully expressing patterns. This is why delicate curves and floral patterns are smoothly depicted.

In the center is a medallion with layers of flowers. The floral and vine patterns spreading from it evoke the elegance of viewing a garden from above. A soft, reddish-pink border frames the ivory field, adding brightness and grace to the space.

High-quality wool is used for the pile, and silk is woven into parts of the pattern. It subtly glimmers depending on the angle of the light, creating depth in the rug's appearance. When touched, it feels moist and soft, yet it has a firm density.
