The history of Pakistani carpets dates back approximately 500 years. It is said that they began when the ruler of the empire at the time had rugs made for the royal palace. Pakistani carpets are densely woven, extremely durable, and can be cared for at home, making them practical and suitable for many years of use.
Not only is it highly durable, but it is also renowned for its beautiful appearance. Made from smooth, soft, and elegantly lustrous wool, it features a variety of unique patterns, including traditional Bokhara designs based on elephant footprints, geometric patterns, and picturesque designs that directly express the weaver's ideas.
Many of the colors are bright and vivid, and some people may be hesitant to use them due to their bold presence, but they actually have a mysterious charm that makes them look good in any room. They can be arranged with modern, classic, and Japanese-style furniture without canceling out each other's individuality.
