Jaldar is a carpet design created in Pakistan. Inspired by Central Asian Bukhara patterns and the traditional motifs of the Turkmen Yomut tribe, Pakistani artisans have uniquely developed this "Pakistan-born" original design. It features a rhythmic and profound composition with a continuous arrangement of polygonal medallion (gul) patterns within a diamond lattice.

Even today, artisans in workshops across Pakistan hand-knot each rug. They use high-quality Merino wool from New Zealand. This wool is characterized by its fine and supple fibers, and it exhibits a silk-like luster depending on the angle of the light. The same rug can change its appearance between morning and evening, or depending on whether you view it sitting or standing, offering new discoveries every time you look at it.
