This Gabbeh is hand-woven by nomads in the Shiraz region of Iran. Among Gabbeh rugs, this is a high-grade type called "Kashkuli," which has a finer weave. Due to the high knot density, it takes more time to weave than typical Gabbeh rugs, but the patterns are clearer and it feels exceptionally good underfoot.


Woven with high-quality wool at a high density, it is very soft to the touch yet durable. The intricately expressed patterns deepen in character the longer they are used.
