All hand-woven rugs are one-of-a-kind and are therefore limited to the current stock. Please note that they are also sold in stores and will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Gabbeh are rugs hand-woven by the Qashqai nomads of Iran, using hand-spun wool dyed with natural dyes. They are thickly woven with thick wool, and are characterized by their simple, charming patterns and colors.
Among Gabbeh, this is a high-grade type called 'Kashkuli,' which has a finer weave. This type uses wool yarn that is spun even finer than the wool used in regular Gabbeh, so the weaving density is high, and even intricate designs are vivid.
Gabbeh, with each pattern having a unique meaning, are also popular as gifts.
Due to their plushness, they are recommended for use as cushions, chair mats, or to add color to car seats.
