Gabbeh are rugs hand-woven by the Qashqai nomadic tribe in Iran, using hand-spun wool dyed with natural plant dyes. They are thickly woven with coarse wool, giving them a rustic and charming pattern and color scheme.

Each Gabbeh has a meaningful pattern, making them popular as gifts.

Because they are plush, they are recommended for use as座布団 (zabuton - Japanese floor cushions), chair mats, or as an item to accent car seats.
