Gabbeh rugs are hand-woven by the Qashqai nomads of Iran using hand-spun wool dyed with natural dyes. They are thickly woven with thick wool, and feature simple and charming patterns and colors.

Among Gabbeh rugs, this is a high-grade one called "Kaschkuli" with a finer weave. This uses wool yarn spun even finer than the wool normally used for Gabbeh rugs, resulting in a higher weaving density and clear, detailed designs.



Each Gabbeh has a meaningful pattern, making them popular as gifts.

Because they are plush, we recommend using them as floor cushions, chair mats, or as an item to decorate car seats.
