A Gabbeh hand-woven in the Shiraz region of Iran. Gabbeh is a type of thick, hand-woven rug made from hand-spun, coarse wool yarn, characterized by rustic and charming colors and designs.
This is a high-grade piece known as a "Kashkooli," which features a finer weave than standard Gabbeh. Because it uses wool yarn spun even thinner than that used for regular Gabbeh, the weave is denser and even intricate designs are clearly defined.
The round shape is unique and brings a level of charm that makes it the centerpiece of any room.
It is so plush and comfortable that it feels great to lie on, and its size is not overwhelming, making it an interesting interior piece that can be used not only as a rug but also draped over a sofa or displayed as a tapestry.
The rich and beautiful color balance, achieved with vibrant natural dyes made from plants and spices, is truly stunning.
This is a work of art, hand-woven by artisans who put their heart into every single knot.
