This Gabbeh was hand-woven by nomads in the Shiraz region of Iran. Among Gabbehs, this is a high-grade product called "Kashkooli," which has a fine weave. Because the knot density is high, it takes longer to weave than a typical Gabbeh, but the pattern is clearer and the feel underfoot is exceptional.
