All handwoven carpets are one-of-a-kind and are available only while supplies last. Please note that they are also available in store on a first-come, first-served basis.

This antique kilim was handwoven in the 1960s-1970s in the town of Sane (Sanandaj) in Kurdistan, Persia, by the Kurdish people, the world's largest stateless people.

Kilims are flat-woven carpets that are mainly produced in Türkiye, Iran, and Afghanistan. They are thin, have no pile, are highly breathable, and feel smooth to the touch.

Sanandaj is finely woven and is not thick compared to other kilims, so it can be used as an accent piece in a room by draping it over furniture such as sofas.

This is a vintage item that was woven over 40 years ago, but as it is unused, it is in excellent condition with little damage such as scratches.
