This Gabbeh was hand-woven by nomads in the Shiraz region of Iran. Among Gabbehs, this is a high-grade type called "Kashkuli," which has a fine weave. Because of the high knot density, it takes longer to weave than a typical Gabbeh, but the pattern is clearer and the feel underfoot is exceptional.


Woven with high-quality wool at a high density, it is very soft to the touch yet durable. The intricately rendered patterns deepen in texture the longer you use them.
