This is a traditional tribal rug hand-woven by the Turkmen tribe who live in and around northeastern Iran. While most Turkmen rugs feature deep red colors, this design, based on a vibrant yellow, is extremely rare, a scarce color variation seldom seen even locally. The color scheme imparts warmth and vibrancy to a space, making it a prominent centerpiece of any interior.

The continuous diamond pattern lined up in the center is the traditional "gul" motif, characteristic of Turkmen rugs. This motif embodies the history and pride of the tribe and is said to have long held significance as an amulet. Intricate geometric patterns overlap around it, creating a design that evokes the rhythm and depth unique to hand-weaving.
