Handwoven carpet from the Yarmeh region of Persia. This tribal rug is handwoven by the Yarmeh people using plant-dyed wool.

The design incorporates a diamond medallion and a hook, which is said to have the power to ward off evil.

The gorgeous red colour with a dark pink tinge is dyed using natural dyes made from plants and spices, which are safer than chemical dyes and can be used safely around children and pets.
